Focus Rentals is a broker of Hertz care hire. Due to the large volume of business we do with Hertz we receive a preferential rate which we are able to pass onto our customers. Our affordable care rental prices are in fact lower than those offered by Hertz direct in some cases. To see our rate selections please view one of the quote options or press the rate tab now.
We have made the booking process as simple as possible to offer you stress free rental from the outset. Your credit card details are not required for a quote and we will offer a reservation number once you confirm your booking. Simply hand this reservation and your credit card details to the operator at the counter of the selected pick-up point and we will have the vehicle clean and ready for collection. Should you wish to make use of our delivery service to your accommodation please specify this when making a booking

COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE COVERAGE |

We
offer two insurance packages - Standard cover with an excess or Super
cover with no excess for overseas drivers. With Super cover insurance,
drivers from outside South Africa would therefore benefit from 100%
insurance cover in the event of a vehicle theft or an accident.
No excess is payable. Terms and conditions apply. Details
will
be supplied with your contract of hire at time of vehicle collection.
1. The beginning of each car rental the supplier will
take a rental authorization on the client’s credit card. All additional
charges (fuel, excess, additional drivers, optional equipment, young
driver surcharge, one way drop off charges, delivery and collection)
will be billed directly to the client post rental.
2. Car rental: Before hiring a car, it is advisable
to plan your journey or trip to some extent, so that it is clear
how far and where you will be driving - and what kind of car would
be most appropriate. This can make a big difference as most visitors
underestimate the size of the country: South Africa is roughly about
twice the size of Texas and driving across 3000km without air conditioning
can be very trying in our hot summer!
3. South Africa is a prime destination for a self-drive
vacation as the roads are in excellent condition with well-marked
information boards and sign boards as well as great infrastructure.
All of the main cities are set up for car rentals and finding your
way around is very easy.
4. Vehicle
hire is a brilliant way of getting to see a country as vast and diverse
as South Africa - driving to the major
cities and their surrounding regions as well as the further lying
attractions is the best way of seeing a place that has been described
as "a world in one country" due
to the natural beauty, interesting cultures, cosmopolitan cities
and warm, hospitable people. |
